Casa Rosa means pink house in Portuguese and we like to think the blush tones of our lovely old building echo the warmth of the hospitality you will find within its walls. 

As mentioned in 'The Times UK Newspaper in February 2025'. We are a luxury boutique guest house with a hotel sensibility, providing you with those extra services that make your stay just that bit more special. Think a cocktail or a cold glass of white wine by the pool in the early evening, a turn-down service so your bed is welcoming you upon your return from dinner, and proper beach towels for use by the pool or a trip over to our nearby amazing islands. We can lend you bicycles to explore the local bicycle paths along the edge of town and the tracks out across the salt pans, where you may see flamingos, and along the edge of the ria.

And then there’s our breakfast: served in the courtyard by the pool (or in the lounge) it features a large selection of Algarve fruits, as well as fresh, locally made bread, and a fine array of meats and cheeses. Eggs and omelettes are cooked to your liking – you only need to ask. 

Casa Rosa has nine rooms varying in size and situation, all designed with a Bohemian style. There are six rooms on the ground floor where the swimming pool is located. And four more on the first floor, opening out onto a shared terrace. Our suite, room 10, overlooks the swimming pool. Restful, quiet nights are induced by our triple-glazed windows as well as our shutters which cocoon you in and any noise out.
